Hatha Yoga is a popular yoga choice for those who have never done yoga before. This classic yoga style is embraced by beginners and experienced yoga practitioners alike. The word Hatha means willful, referring to a set of physical exercises known as asanas or postures, designed to align your muscles, connective tissues (fascia, tendons, ligaments) and bones.

Hatha Yoga helps you to get fit and to encourage a healthy mind-body connection. Best of all, you do not have to be flexible, you just need to be able to breathe, so it is appropriate for everyone!


Yoga Therapy – A Yoga practice customized just for you! Yoga therapy takes into consideration your unique combination of physical, psychological and spiritual needs. Every body is different. Not all asanas (poses) are possible for everyone, based on our different body structures. Yoga therapy practice is tailored to your abilities and goals!

Hatha Yin Yoga – Restorative Yoga which works deep into the connective tissues, muscles and joints, just by holding the poses for a longer period of time.

Hatha Gentle Yoga – Great for older adults and beginner yoga students.

Our individual yoga session (60 mins) includes instruction on proper form and technique for all asanas (postures), instruction of proper breathing techniques, introduction to basic yoga terminology for asanas and breath. PARTNER HATHA YOGA SESSIONS: Learn yoga with a friend or family member for only $20 more per session!

Private Vancouver Fitness Studio

The Tri-Cities Fitness and Shiatsu private studio is located at the southern edge of the Coquitlam Town area, just minutes from Coquitlam Centre and only 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver, BC. Flexible hours are offered Monday – Friday by appointment only.
